We live in a time when posting photos, making reels, and posting videos on social media platforms can become a professional in case the content that you post is interesting to the masses.

This profession is called social media influencer. Social media influencers usually have an army of followers, who consume the content that they post, and that is how they make a name. After being known to huge masses, they start collaborating with different brands and being paid for it. Companies decide to hire them after making the decision with the help of such tools as CRM software.

1. Choose your niche 

First, you have to choose a theme you know the most about. It can be the domain that you are most excited about, or it can be your job. It can be a hobby, and it can be the skills you want to share with people. It can be nothing special but your routine. And keep in mind to choose something that you don’t mind being known for. Because when gaining an audience, there surely will be a mass of people criticizing you for different aspects. So, think this point through very carefully and start your affair afterward. 

2. Choose your platform you are going to create content for

Most bloggers choose one of these platforms:

TikTok- was created in 2016 and is the most popular platform in 2022, which is mostly used by people from 18-25

Instagram – a social media platform for visuals and their description

YouTube – with only video content

Facebook – the platform is mainly for networking and mostly for a text post

You can consider also collaborating with podcast production companies and Twitch streaming. 

3. Define your target audience

Define your target audience and create content for them. You can’t be interested in all the members of social media platforms all over the world. But you can choose a target audience and engage them in your posts. Be it an image, a video, a reel, or a text post; the most important is to engage the audience to boost the visibility of the post. 

4. Post regularly 

It is important to post regularly. The more posts you do, the bigger your chances are to go viral. Be careful to keep the best times to post on Instagram or TikTok because it really matters. Your posts can attract a wider public at that exact time lag and get more engagement. This will result in increasing the number of your followers: use it as an influencer marketing hack.

When it comes to posting on social media, the most important thing is to start. Because you get into it and gain confidence in the process. The most important thing is to have the courage to share your passion, skills, or whatever you are willing to share. Growing an audience is not easy nowadays because competition is huge, and starting with TikTok and Instagram giants is tough. But make sure to go by these steps when starting a blog and be persistent in your endeavor.
