What SSSTik does and doesn’t do
SSSTik finds the video files TikTok already offers for a public post and gives you a link to download one. It does not edit your video or erase the TikTok watermark from a file. A version without the watermark is available only when TikTok provides it.
SSSTik offers MP4 files, and HD quality is available only when the original upload has it. The tool cannot make a low-resolution clip sharper.
How to download a TikTok video in 3 steps
- Copy the link. In the TikTok app, open the video, tap Share, and choose Copy link. On a desktop computer, copy the URL from the browser’s address bar.
- Paste the link into SSSTik. Open SSSTik in any browser, paste the link into the input field, and press the download button.
- Save the file. Choose the download option you want. The video goes to your browser’s default download folder or, on some phones, straight to your photo library.
The download options usually appear shortly after you submit a link. Repeat these steps for each video you want to save.
Saving TikTok stories
SSSTik also downloads TikTok stories. Copy the story’s link, then follow the steps above. The story must still be available on TikTok when you download it; an expired story cannot be retrieved.

Using SSSTik on phone, tablet, and computer
The steps are the same on an Android phone, an iPhone, an iPad, a laptop, or a desktop PC. Where the file ends up depends on your device and browser settings.

When a download may not work
A download may fail or return fewer options if:

- the account has been suspended, deactivated, or made private.

If a link fails, copy it again from the Share menu and paste the new link. SSSTik cannot restore removed posts or open content that TikTok restricts.
