Artificial Intelligence has been the hottest trend of 2023 so far and just about everyone has an angle on it.
Whether you think the common uses of AI are good or bad (like the art that has been created using it), there’s no doubt that it now has a place in our society, which will continue to grow into the future.
One place that AI has really begun infiltrating, and where people see the potential, is business. Business leaders and managers have been experimenting with how AI can improve processes and, so far, it seems to be working. After talking with a variety of business leaders, we’ve heard about a variety of uses for Artificial Intelligence in 2023:
1. To Streamline Processes
“Artificial Intelligence has become smart enough so you can program it to complete regular tasks and take a load off of your team. With AI, the simplest tasks can be done for you, which will move things along faster and allow your employees to focus on things that actually matter and require the human touch.
AI can streamline processes in a big way and, over time, it will make a big impact on your company. In the future, AI will be used to streamline processes even further.”

2. To Complement the Work My Team Does
“I’ve found that AI is a nice partner for my team and can enhance things we’re doing in certain places, like website and graphic design, creating email newsletter templates, writing blog articles, and so much more.
Can AI handle the complete load on these tasks? No, they require the work of an employee, but AI can complement them quite nicely.”

3. As a Customer Service Tool
“AI has really allowed companies to enhance their customer service and provide a much more consistent, satisfactory experience. For the most part, AI is being used through chatbots to really enhance this aspect of business and it’s made a big difference.
In this world where everything is 24/7, it’s difficult to have someone on standby at all hours of the day. Artificial Intelligence and the modern chatbot can fill in as needed and get the process rolling to help customers with whatever is needed.”

4. To Write Content
“New AI writing tools have really made a splash in the market and can be used in a variety of ways to create new content at a faster rate and have it appear unique. These new AI writing tools will use keywords and prompts from you to create content that fits your needs and can even improve the reaction you get to your content.
The creation of consistent, high-quality content is very important these days, and these new AI writing tools can be a big help in doing that quickly and affordably. We’ve been using an AI-writing tool called Hoppy Copy since January, and it has fit into our processes nicely. It’s encouraging to know that these tools are out there already and will only get better in how they can help companies like mine.”

5. Payroll and Accounting
“I’ve noticed the use of AI in my accounting software of choice. It now has the ability to complete tasks on its own and is more hands-off than it used to be, thanks to the enhancements of AI in 2023.
I can log in and basically monitor things because most tasks have been done for me already thanks to AI.”

This is only the beginning…
I think we can all agree that, while Artificial Intelligence has taken a giant leap in 2023, this is only the beginning. The role of AI and its use in our world will continue to grow over time. Where it ends up, we can only guess. It will be interesting to watch where it goes in the future, and I’ll specifically have an interest in understanding how it is being used in the business world.
